I went on a short cut from September through October. Then I started to bulk at the end of October. That went on until the beginning of December, so the measurement was taken into the second week of my cut.

And here are the mm measurments I have. I used his abbreviations, so don't ask me what's what! While this seems to be inconsistent, the tape measures above are not. I don't have the measurements anymore for October and December... I never thought I would need them. >_< The BF% in July and December is almost the same, so I guess the numbers should be pretty similar. I think the "C" measurement is at the chest/axillary part... it's never been as high as 9mm, though. I think he might've over-pinched that part. Also, I was wearing pants and he took the thigh measurement through my pants, and didn't ask me to raise my shirt when measuring at my oblique, so it would've included the fabric for those measurements. Each one of those might've added 1-2mm. If it really is 21.7%, then he probably made an error in my post-bulk measurement and my BF post-bulk could've been higher.

The numbers just seem really odd to me. If he did underestimate it, then I overestimated my maintenance calories by quite a bit because of the lean mass. I just did the math for my maintenance calories, and according to the LBM I got from today's test, I'm eating between a maintenance and a slight surplus. That could explain why I've been getting stronger and not seeing a strength decrease anywhere.

I also plugged the hip, thigh, calf, and a wrist measurement into Health Central's calculator. I didn't write them down, but they were 13.3% (for July), 13.6% (for October), 16.3% (for December) and 16.4% (for today). In October, Rick measured less bodyfat than in July, but according to HC it's been continuously going up. The site says the test has a 3% deviancy either way. I recall the caliper test has the same margin of error, and averaging the two results from both tests gives me 19.05%, which looks to be about right.
